Hey

You might have noticed some changes on the forums recently such as forums being moved around and staffing being promoted or demoted.

Firstly, most forums have been moved out of other forums or deleted and their contents moved to their parent forum. This was because the hierarchy wasn't all that great and it made it a bigger pain to find anything you wanted in the forum.

Secondly, the staff has been changed. Bigbowser and Poptart have both being demoted due to extreme inactivity levels or just not being needed at the time. In response to these demotions, I registered and have been made an administrator, thanks to Goomba, the reason being I'm here to help out and such.

I might not be too active on here, but I will be working on getting more activity to nintendalgia.com, but it's all up to you! We'll be sending out a mass mail to many of our users to see if they will come back.

One more thing: I'm talking to Kazuto about the Blog. Since it doesn't seem to be used much and nobody comments on the discussions on it, we might just remove it. However, it will still be there for your convenience.

anyone experience the click of death? i never have, usually i got a new pc before it would happen, but now i'm facing the before effects like the whirring and click (not the click of death but getting close) i may have to take my pc to best buy when my mom has the money

Who here remembers the "knock-off" of Twisted Metal on the N64? I sure as hell do. I loved that game so much! My favorite level on there was the Arizona level because of that huge cliff you can drive off of in the mine shaft; that and the hoverpads you could get.

For those who don't know what Vigilante 8 is, it's an old game that plays like Twisted Metal where you drive vehicles with weapons and try to kill your opponents. According to Wikipedia - who always can word stuff much better - it's a spin-off of an old game, Interstate '76, thus its time frame in the 70s. You got a choice of various characters, "vigilantes," that consist of a school bus driver, a "pimp"-looking guy, a dump truck driver, a hillbilly guy, and... some guy in a truck.
With every vigilante, you start out with a standard machine gun (called a "Mosquito Gun") that is relatively weak compared to the other weapons... but has UNLIMITED ammo. Awesome. Now, don't fret. There are upgradeable weapons such as rockets, lightning, and a nuke. The nuke was awesome. Very awesome.

As I previously noted, you can also get a special power-up that changes your wheels into a hovercraft... I think in specific levels. That was fun!

H all, i like to talk a bit about an amazing band by inside out records, called
Ayreon, especially the album Into The electric castle, hey it may sound a bit over the top, but a great listen none the less, way better than dragonforce in my opinion ,wait , anything is better than dragonforce XD, anyways,
this is basically real prog, a real cocept album, spanning 8 albums like this now,
with a cast of vocalsits you lot probably never heard of, , check out Into the electric castle, that is if you are a prog or rock opera fan, hell i almost want to buy the album, it's that good,here's a synopsis of the concept story for into the electric castle, basically it's about 8 souls from different generations that enter this other dimension with a castle where some may die. and some who live will be rewarded. anyways, excellent symphonics, not terribly lengthy songs, some over 10 minutes, about 2, anyways, they are on jango which is a free music radio site, so check em out

Is it just me, or are current Wii games... suck horribly? I rented some Wii games from GameFly, such as World Party Games and Alice in Wonderland (don't ask) and... they did not capture my attention for long.
I played Alice for about 10 minutes and I started getting bored of it very quickly.
Oh, and WPG is the worst Wii game I played... Sent it back right after playing 5 minutes-worth.

What the crap, Nintendo? Why can't developers make worthwhile games like before with Zelda and Metroid Prime? Give us something good! Oh, and make graphics less fuzzy. That could be associated with playing composite, though. :/

omg this game is so much fun and hilarious,i even liked the 360 port,
it was so messed up for a n64 game,and the multiplayer was pretty cool too
